Such a sobering experience to take a family member here, but the stag and environment are the best! For those that may have fears about visiting, please do, or will be worth you and your family's time and love.

Great counseling and lecture program. They do everything they can to help. The only negative is dealing with the doctors on staff, but usually if you let the counseling staff know about any issues they will get the solution process speed up big time. Not my first rehab to go to but definitely a special place that helps you get and STAY sober. You won't leave feeling like you've just been kicked to the curb.

Omgosh this place changed my life. It saved me when I was at my lowest and didn't want to go on. Awesome people that truly love their jobs. Wonderful, understanding, truly caring and loving and Godly. You can actually feel God's love when u enter there.

Its hard, itll break you but if you want it bad enough youll see it through and not give up.

The most rewarding experience of my life besides knowing Jesus...Abilene was a super place from check in to check out. Fredericksburg was residential rehab in the hill country...Roady the rehab roadrunner would show up everyday, I've only seen cartoon one! All the staff are top notch real people who do their job well. I returned home with a new life to live!

I was amazed at the love and support from counselors to techs...feeling safe and loved and not condemned for being an addict. God's love is so present in the serenity house.

I went 5 1/2 months ago I'm still sober thanks to my higher power and some will of my own kind of a run down facility but program is well put together I appreciate everything most of they're patience with me.....and don't cross Mary Christie lol she cares but she'll light you up if your in the wrong and jeff and patty are the best counselors ever!!!!! And pay attention to miles he's a genious!

Best treatment center ever. They really care and have "been there done that." The experience changed my life.

Very professional and influential place to go to get your sobriety. I would recommend this place to each and every addic that wants to get clean. I have been to multiple places and this one is hands down the best for your recovery. Bit far to drive from south Texas but we'll worth it. My family thanks you and most of all so do i.

Great place for recovery

I went to Serenity on my own, my choice, and am so thankful I made the choice. The staff was wonderful, treat them with respect and you will get respect. The councilors and speakers were so helpful and full of life changing information. If you are really wanting the help and the knowledge then this place will help but they can't turn you into a puppet to do as they say...it's a choice. You will be given the tools and it's up to you to use them. The information given is life saving! Go get the tools and come out sober ready to get them dirty!!! Life is too precious to waste. ~Holly

I've been dry and non drinking since I went there 3.5 years ago.

Great treatment center

I went to serenity house twice the first time i went and yea wanted help with my drinking. But i dont think i was ready to change fully yea i paid attention and did the book work but when i had got out i still wasn't ready to stop. One month later i was back in my same old ways drinking but i think for me my family and friends wanted me to go so i kinda did it for them but im the back of my mind i knew i still wanted to drink maybe not as much but still i fell back into it. So i had to go back the second time but it was different because i went because i wanted to for me i was drinking myself to death and was tired and scared. I wanted to change my life so i went again but this time was focused on the goal 100 percent i didnt just go threw the motions and tell people what they wanted to hear. I knew this was my last shot but what im trying to say its a great program it works if you work it not anyone else or for anyone else. So again I'd like to thank everyone at the serenity house ive been good and sober going on 2years now. I had my first baby boy 1 yr ago and now we are expecting our second in January. So yea i couldnt wouldn't be here without them so god bless and thank yall so much everyone at the serenity house and god bless all the suffering attics out there too.

First time i was not good i was really coming off of herion and i got in the medicin office and got busted after i was high as hell got kick out cops were called i had the vans keys in my pockit. I was a mess. But i conected with the right people and giving another chance god bless my wife through all this she never failed me or left me.. so i made it through i give it 5 stars for sure . And not my only time threw eather and im going again not really going cause im hurting but to save my self and hopefully my marrage and ill be doing a lot more listing this time im doing it for me coause its me if im not good then i cant be right for anyone else God bless and if your out there call before you die cause you will die rememmber i mentioned my loving wife im here because of her i surly would of died no dought about it..ttmab love😉

If you want something bad enough you will put your all into it, so with that if you want to change something in your life & willing to accept the help, they will show you the way that has helped thousands of people. Jodi.
